The Weekly Chic: restarting regular catch-ups and ensuring women get the top jobs
By MBAchic • Issue #11 • View online
A number of you are celebrating acceptances to top programs – congratulations! May your only issue be the issue of deciding between your many acceptances. If you’re in business school or already graduated, you likely remember the excitement surrounding this time… sending those heading to school in the fall our very best wishes!
Over the last week we’ve been talking about upcoming events and restarting our more casual chats. At the start of the pandemic, our Zoom catch-ups were great… we would hop on, meet new people in the MBAchic community, talk about what was going on and help each other navigate the various personal and professional situations we were dealing with. Let’s kick them off again - a recent Instagram survey says Friday or Saturday looks good to everyone, so reply if you have a preference between the two and we’ll get it set up.
This week there’s a ton in this email – new roles waiting to hear from you, an upcoming conversation on MBAs & side hustles, the opportunity to meet with business schools to learn more about their program, and a conversation with a James Beard Award winning chef to close out National Nutrition Month here in the US. There are more great convos on deck so be sure to stay tuned and forward this message to someone who should join us.
PSA: if you’re with a brand or organization, reach out to find out how you can tap into our growing global network of smart, ambitious professionals. Reply or go here. If you’re job searching, companies like Aday, Pipeline Equity & Rosetta Digital and more are waiting to hear from you (scroll to “Jobs”).
Sending you good vibes for the week ahead!
